In the evening they had a 1.5 hours long firework (èŠ±ç« – hanabi or flower + fire) in Tokyo bay. Though we are far from Tokyo bay we could hear it and see it from our balcony.
It was quite beautiful and probably a lot of people watching it. I guess Tokyo Tower felt a bit lonely since the tower seemed to get attention by changing colors in pace with the fireworks.
