Dinner with Sachi-san

My “Japanese mother” Sachi-san had just returned from a vacation in Bali – Toku-san is still there. She wanted to have company for dinner so we joined here at KotoKoto. Besides great food we also had a fun time catching up on the latest with Sachi-san and Toku-san. They plan to move to Bali for their retirement. Toku-san as soon as this year.

Dinner at KotoKoto

Since I am soon leaving for a one week’s business trip Chie and I have had quite a lot of dinners outside lately. Today we went to KotoKoto. As usual it was superb. Hiromi-san (the owner) had made potato salad for me – since I am a Swede I am supposed to love potatoes in all forms 😉

KotoKoto

Met Chie at 7pm for a dinner at KotoKoto. As usual it was delicious and we had a chance to try Hiromi-san’s “home made” miso, with a promise to join her the next time she will prepare miso – takes almost a year for it to ferment to the right state though. Before we left KotoKoto Hiromi-san gave us green tea leaves that a friend of her’s had made – looking forward to try it.

Late Valentine’s Dinner at KotoKoto

Once I arrived back in Tokyo from my trip to Beijing I went to the office for some meetings. At around 6 pm I got into a taxi and went to KotoKoto where I met Chie for a later Valentine’s dinner.

As usual the food was delicious. This time we also tried a desert, something KotoKoto usually does not have. It was strawberries and pie with custard cream. YUMMY!!!

Dinner at KotoKoto

After preparing for the flea market Chie went to Synergy Center for a Muscle Activation Technique session while I went to “sports town” next to Akihabara. Last weekend I bought a snowboard but of course I forgot to bring my boots so I could not buy any bindings. Today I brought my boots and bought bindings 🙂 I hope I can show some great “live” pictures on the board once I get back to Niseko in the end of February… Stay tuned 🙂

In the evening we met with Mina-sensei and went for dinner at KotoKoto. We were one of the first groups to enter the restaurant and the last to leave it. The food was as always great and we had a fun time talking about everything and nothing.
