Dinner at Yasaka

This autumn has been quite busy and it is showing now at the end of the year. The frequency at which we have dinner out has incased. Today we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Yasaka. As usual it was both fun and yummy!

Gym & Yasaka

Went to the gym after work while Chie went to Yasaka to meet with a friend (Tsuchiya-san). Once I was done at the gym I joined them at Yasaka to get some protein into my body πŸ˜›

Back in Tokyo

Finally back in Tokyo. Flight arrived on time and we quickly got through immigrations and out through the customs. In a couple of hours from touch down we were back home unpacking our bags.

Once most of the bags were unpacked we went to Yasaka for dinner. It was nice having Japanese food instead of American junk food. It’s too oily and to cheesy for my liking. And usually my stomach gets quite upset. This trip was no exception. So to be back in Tokyo and have great food at Yasaka was very nice πŸ™‚

Tea Ceremony and Yasaka

Just before 1 pm I arrived at Mina-sensei for this month’s tea ceremony. Ueno-san was already there and I just got in time to try out her koicha (thick tea). The rest dropped in at 1 pm and then at 2 pm. Once I’d done my koicha I acted a “smart ass” by correcting anyone that did a mistake πŸ˜‰

4.5 hours later (all the time in seisa – sitting with folded knees) we were done and I limped home. Actually I limped to the train, then to the bus and then to Yasaka for dinner before I limped home. But why be picky about details now that the tea ceremony is over?

Friday Night… Yasaka

Too tired to make dinner tonight. Instead we went to Yasaka for some yaki-tori and a lot of laughs πŸ™‚ They are truly crazy there… In a good way.
