Apple Pie

Made apple pie today. A recepie from Rosendals Garden’s cook book, which they claim was over 100 years old. Despite the age, it was good 🙂

Ginger Ale in the Making

Went to the farmer’s market and bought some shin-shoga (new ginger) in the morning. Now it’s evening and I’m working on turning the ginger into ale. Fridge is bunkered with sparkling water to go with the produced syrup. Looking forward to the finished product… only 30 min to go 🙂

October Fest – Tea Ceremony

Time for the monthly tea ceremony again. We are practicing a new setup so I take a little bit more time to walk it through in my mind before going to the session.

Soba Lunch

Chie, Yutaka and I went for a visit to Tokorozawa and arrived around lunch time. Yutaka found one of the best soba restaurants in Saitama-ken. It was good.
